In a News 3 Las Vegas segment of a little over two minutes, the station's reporter stood on what she called a construction site and explained that the old office buildings behind her were being turned into a place to shop, eat and hang out. The report described The Cliff as a $100 million investment with space for about 35 retailers.
A developer interviewed on camera said urban outdoor lifestyle centers in infill, higher-demographic areas have become great investments. He named Visual Comfort, a high-end lighting store, and Our House, a high-end furniture store, along with Southern California concepts such as The Taco Stand and Wine Girl, and said leases had just been signed with Pvolve and BODYROK. The segment gave an opening of early 2028, and developers argued the project would keep sales tax dollars in Henderson instead of sending shoppers to the Galleria on Sunset, The District, Town Square, the Strip or Downtown Summerlin.
Two residents rounded out the story. Angela Jackson, new to the area from California, praised the development, and Sam Magana, a 20-year Henderson resident, said the dirt roads she remembered had become buildings. The reporter closed by noting that tenants were already lined up.
