MSN carried a KSNV report by Sara Smith on The Cliff, a $100 million project in Henderson that is converting unused office space into an outdoor destination for shopping and dining. The office buildings are being repurposed into a lifestyle center with stores, restaurants and space for people to gather.
In the syndicated story, Andrew Dunn of VAC Development said the developers had identified a gap in the market and heard from residents asking for shopping and dining options nearer home. Outdoor lifestyle centers in dense, higher-demographic urban areas, he said, have proven to be strong investments. Visual Comfort, Our House, The Taco Stand and Wine Girl were among the businesses named for the site. Sam Magana, a resident of two decades, described how much the area has changed, and Angela Jackson said the project would bring jobs. Developers said tenants were already committed as work continues over the coming months.
