In this ActiveRain post, Las Vegas real estate agent Jennifer Graff of The New Home Experts at Simply Vegas pushed back on a summer of negative headlines about the city, covering Colorado River cuts, a poor "best states to move to" ranking and the Case-Shiller price data. Her argument was that what is being built says more about a market than the think pieces do.
The Cliff was one of the examples she listed, alongside the Athletics ballpark, Hard Rock Las Vegas, UnCommons and Four Seasons at MacDonald Highlands. Graff described it as a $50 million, 100,000-square-foot open-air development replacing ten acres of empty office space in Green Valley Ranch, built by locals who said Henderson deserved better than a retail landscape that had not changed in twenty years.
