New retail center set to replace office complex in Las Vegas valley

April 16, 2024 · 8 News Now

8 News Now reported that a 100,000-square-foot office complex at 2500 to 2550 Paseo Verde Parkway in Green Valley Ranch would be replaced by a "food-driven open-air lifestyle retail center" called The Cliff. Citing a release from CAST and Partners Capital, the station said the project was set to open in spring 2025 with curated retail, chef-driven restaurants and community-focused entertainment. The $30 million plan called for 25 retail spaces from 1,800 to 17,000 square feet, opening onto a central bar and covered outdoor dining lounge with a live performance area, fire pits, kiosks and public art.

Bobby Khorshidi of Partners Capital said the partners were "removing older surplus office space" and replacing it with an amenity for the neighborhood, pointing to support from the city, local residents and potential tenants. Partners Capital principal Mark Blumenthal said Las Vegas was in the midst of a culinary renaissance. Construction was expected to begin in October, pending final city approval.
