Killer Whale Creamery to Sweeten Up The Cliff Redevelopment with Opening

February 27, 2026 · WhatNow Las Vegas

WhatNow Las Vegas reported that Killer Whale Creamery, one of the first tenants announced for The Cliff in Henderson, plans to open in the $55 million redevelopment at 2500 and 2550 Paseo Verde Parkway. The outlet said the team behind the project had recently broken ground, so the ice cream shop should open sometime this year, and that it will be the brand's first location in Las Vegas. Reporter Candese Charles wrote that WhatNow contacted the co-owners but had not heard back by publication.

The creamery was founded in La Jolla, California, by Mike Harrison and Dillon Berkabile, who also own the neighboring Blue Whale Cafe. Quoting the shop's website, WhatNow described handcrafted, locally sourced and vegan flavors and an eco-friendly approach, and listed one scoop for five dollars along with milkshakes, waffle cones and flights. Flavors it named included Smores on the Beach, Blacks Beachy Cherry and Horchata Churro topped with serrano sugar.
