REBusinessOnline reported that the City of Henderson had approved development plans for The Cliff, a $50 million open-air retail and dining destination roughly 15 miles outside Las Vegas. The project will redevelop a 100,000-square-foot office complex into a pedestrian-friendly setting with landscaped courtyards, breezeways, public art, live music and a kiosk village called The Yard. The outlet described The Cliff as the gateway to the Green Valley Ranch master-planned community and as Henderson's first retail development in more than 20 years.
Construction was expected to begin in October, with a grand opening scheduled for fall 2026. San Diego-based CAST and Los Angeles-based Partners Capital were leading the project in partnership. The report said The Cliff had been billed as Southern Nevada's first "anti-mall," intended to replace the strip mall and big-box format with a walkable, community-centered gathering place.
