KSNV News 3 reported that developers had announced plans for a $50 million retail and entertainment complex in Henderson's Green Valley Ranch neighborhood. In a news release, Partners Capital and CAST Capital Partners called The Cliff at Green Valley Ranch a "transformative open-air lifestyle destination." Two office buildings in the 2500 block of Paseo Verde Parkway, east of St. Rose Parkway, would be converted into the complex, which was to include 25 retail spaces, an outdoor dining lounge, meeting spaces, live performance zones, public art and fire pits.
Mark Blumenthal, a principal at Partners Capital, said in a statement that Las Vegas was "in the midst of a culinary renaissance" and that The Cliff was designed as a gathering place offering "next-level food culture and bespoke retail uses for the local community." The station said Henderson's Planning Commission would take up the project on Thursday, May 15, before it went to the City Council, and that developers planned to start construction in October and finish the following year if approved. KSNV added that an initial press release had put the cost at $38 million before it was updated to $50 million.
