WhatNow Las Vegas reported that BODYROK had signed on as a tenant at The Cliff and expected to open a 2,501-square-foot fitness studio at 2550 Paseo Verde Parkway in Green Valley Ranch early next year. Citing a press release from the project team, the outlet described The Cliff as a new $100 million, 10-acre entertainment and retail destination in Henderson. The release called BODYROK a Pilates-inspired boutique studio with a high-intensity, low-impact format built around its own reformer.
The article quoted Steve Neiger, managing broker at CAST Capital Partners, from the same release. He said the latest tenants were bringing premium, flagship-caliber retail that makes Green Valley Ranch a destination, and that the team was in lease negotiations with several cult-favorite apparel brands while talking with direct-to-consumer brands about a brick-and-mortar store in Henderson. WhatNow said it had contacted BODYROK CEO Jakob Irion but had not heard back by publication.
The piece closed with background on the brand. Irion, his wife Tina and Philip Palumbo founded BODYROK in San Francisco in 2012, and its 40- to 45-minute classes blend strength, cardio and core work on high-resistance reformers. The outlet said there are now more than a hundred BODYROK studios across several U.S. states and the UK.
